Executive Summary

NonKey is a secure utility application designed for streamlined operational workflows, offering offline-first functionality, biometric login, and native database syncing for mobile devices.

The Challenge

Developing a synchronization mechanism that resolves conflicts when multiple users edit the same task offline was the core technical challenge.

The Problem

Field workers and operations staff had to manage tasks using clunky, web-based tools that required constant internet connections, causing data loss when working offline.

Our Solution

We engineered a lightweight React Native utility app with a local SQLite database that syncs automatically when online, backed by biometric FaceID security and high-speed data export.

Our Approach

We implemented a custom operational-transformation (OT) sync algorithm in Supabase that tracks line-item revision histories, auto-resolving conflicts based on timestamps and user authority levels.
