PulseHealth: Health & Wellness Platform
A HIPAA-compliant tracking platform for chronic health conditions and patient-doctor collaboration.
Project Snapshot
Executive Summary
PulseHealth is a comprehensive health management system designed to connect chronic patients with their healthcare providers in real-time. The application collects vitals via wearables, provides AI-driven health risk assessment, and securely transmits logs to medical databases.
The Challenge
Healthcare data is highly sensitive, requiring strict HIPAA compliance and end-to-end encryption. Patients suffering from chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease needed a seamless way to log daily vitals without friction. Existing solutions were either too complex for elderly patients or lacked proper integration with healthcare provider systems. Additionally, doctors were overwhelmed with non-critical alerts, needing an intelligent triage system that could prioritize urgent cases based on real-time data analysis.
The Problem
Chronic patients struggled to track their daily vitals accurately and share them with medical teams. Lack of continuous monitoring led to delayed interventions and higher hospitalization rates.
Our Solution
We developed an intuitive Flutter app integrated with Apple HealthKit and Google Fit. The app includes an offline database, end-to-end encryption for HIPAA compliance, and an automated alerting system for doctors based on AI vitals evaluation.
Our Approach
We adopted a patient-centric design philosophy, conducting user research with both chronic patients and healthcare providers. The architecture was built around an offline-first database that syncs securely when connectivity is available. We implemented role-based access controls and granular consent management to ensure HIPAA compliance. The AI health assessment engine was trained on de-identified symptom data to provide accurate risk stratification, enabling doctors to focus on critical cases first.
