Managing real-time scheduling updates across thousands of concurrent operators without database locking or slow calendar rendering. When multiple staff members book simultaneously, conflicts had to be detected and resolved within milliseconds.
We utilized PostgreSQL transactional locking alongside real-time subscription events in Supabase to sync calendar updates instantly across all employee devices. Twilio webhooks trigger automated SMS/WhatsApp sequences at 24h, 2h, and 30min before appointments.
Built a solid multi-tenant database schema first, then the conflict-prevention calendar engine, followed by automated communication flows, and finally the Stripe deposit/payment system — each phase validated with real business users.
