Executive Summary
Longevity Labs required a flagship mobile experience for health-conscious users who actively track biometrics, work with professional coaches, and use wearable devices. The result is a beautifully designed cross-platform app that became a top-ranked health product.
Handling highly sensitive biometrics while maintaining instant syncing across multiple fitness wear models (Apple Watch, Garmin, Fitbit) was a significant engineering hurdle. The app needed to process continuous raw streams of sleep, heart rate, and steps data while providing clinical-grade analytics accessible to all age groups.
We engineered an offline-first synchronization engine in React Native that queues biometrics during periods of poor connectivity and pushes them securely when online. For the AI nutrition engine, we designed a pipeline that compresses uploaded meal photos client-side, passes them to Gemini Vision API, and parses the structured nutrient data directly into the user's local log.
We started with a 2-week discovery sprint mapping all wearable data schemas and clinical biometric standards. Then built the sync engine first, followed by the AI pipeline, coach dashboard, and finally the subscription layer — ensuring each piece was production-hardened before moving on.
